Hair and hair loss?

Ive often been told i have really thick hair and recently ive been growing my hair.

noticed (within the last 1 and half months) by my pillow, in the bath and in the shower that some hair falls out (especially in the bath) and i am very very worried. My hair is quite long and ive asked quite alot of friends of mine if the falling of hair is normal, they said since it is long it is more likely to be pulled and hence fall off yet i am still worried (my hair is about an inch and a half long). I dont know if any of the following might be the cause: Ive started training since june, and ive lost 4.5 stone from june-september and maintained this weightloss upto now. My diet is very strict and healthy, i dont eat any chocoloate, fried food or any junk wat so ever. I eat exactly half a plate of vegtables with every meal and eat plenty of fruit through out the day. I take protein shakes (im mentioning this as i dnt knw if taking this myt be the cause, its 'nitro-tech hardcore').

the answer is probably no, but.?

are there ways to make hair grow faster without taking pills? i've heard that massaging your scalp can stimulate hair growth, and i use biotin shampoo because i've heard biotin stimulates hair growth too. i know that eating protein and having a healthy diet helps also but i'm not sure if any of this REALLY helps hair grow faster. is there anything i haven't mentioned that helps or is my hair going to grow the average amount hair grows regardless of these things?

What website can I get this bag from?

no longer in there stores or on their website. I can't seem to find it on ebay either. Help??
